About this policy
PickPerfect is a color arcade for iOS and Android, developed by Zarzara. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app or contact us about it.
You do not need to create a Zarzara account to play. Game progress is stored on your device, but the app also uses online services for advertising, Android gaming features, and background checks for optional Adventure level settings. Those services process information as described below.
Information stored on your device
PickPerfect saves your scores, game statistics, daily challenge history, play streaks, Adventure progress, coins, and preferences on your device. Game levels are generated locally from a seed. The app can also cache optional downloaded settings used to generate some Adventure levels. Saved information lets you continue playing and keeps your settings between sessions.
PickPerfect does not provide a Zarzara account or a general cloud backup of your game progress. Some scores, achievements, and progression events can be sent to Google Play Games on Android, as explained below.
Advertising with Google AdMob
PickPerfect uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK on both Android and iOS. The app can show full-screen ads between games and optional rewarded ads that provide an in-game benefit.
The advertising service processes information to deliver and measure ads, diagnose problems, and prevent fraud. Depending on your platform, device settings, and the app’s child-directed advertising configuration, this can include:
- Your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location.
- App and ad interactions, such as launches, ad views, and taps.
- Diagnostic and performance information, including crash information.
- App- or device-related identifiers where permitted by the advertising configuration and operating system.
The app configures ads for child-directed treatment and general-audience ad content. These settings restrict personalized advertising and the use of advertising identifiers; they do not mean that no technical or ad-interaction data is processed.
Google describes its processing in the Google Privacy Policy and its AdMob data disclosures for Android and iOS.
Google Play Games on Android
The Android app integrates Google Play Games Services. If Google Play Games reports that you are signed in, PickPerfect can submit supported leaderboard scores, unlock achievements, and report level-progression events to Google. These records can be associated with your Play Games profile.
Your Play Games profile settings govern how gaming activity is visible to others. You can manage sign-in and privacy through Google Play Games and your Google Account. This integration is not used in the iOS app.
See the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s instructions for deleting Play Games data.
Local levels and background content checks
PickPerfect generates game levels on your device. At startup, the app also attempts to check Supabase Storage for optional Adventure level settings. If available, those settings are downloaded and cached for use in some color-mixing levels. If no applicable downloaded settings are cached, the app uses its built-in level settings. Gameplay does not depend on a successful network check.
Contacting the hosting service sends your IP address and standard network-request information so it can respond, even when content is unavailable. These requests do not upload your saved scores, coins, or Adventure progress.
For information about the hosting provider, see the Supabase Privacy Policy.
Permissions and device controls
- Notifications: With your device’s permission, the app schedules local reminders for daily challenges and play streaks. You can turn reminders off in PickPerfect Settings or disable notifications in your device settings. These reminders are scheduled on the device, rather than sent from a remote notification server.
- Haptics: Vibration provides feedback during gameplay. You can turn it off in PickPerfect Settings.
- Internet access: Used for ads, optional Adventure content checks, and Google Play Games features on Android.
- iOS tracking permission: The iOS app may request permission through Apple’s tracking prompt. You can refuse or change this permission in system settings. Refusing tracking does not stop all advertising-service processing, such as network requests or diagnostics, and the app’s child-directed ad restrictions still apply.
PickPerfect does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or precise device location. For iOS tracking controls, see Apple’s app tracking guidance.
Children and families
PickPerfect’s audience includes children. The app does not ask players to enter their name, email address, date of birth, or contact details to play, and it does not provide in-app chat.
On both platforms, advertising requests are configured for child-directed treatment with a general-audience content limit. This is intended to restrict interest-based advertising and remarketing. Advertising providers still process technical information needed for the purposes described in the advertising section.
A parent or guardian can contact support@zarzara.app with a privacy question or a request concerning information provided to us about a child. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal details.
Retention and deletion
Saved progress and preferences remain in the app’s local storage until removed through available reset, app-data, or app-deletion controls. “Reset Adventure Progress” in PickPerfect Settings clears Adventure progress and coins; it does not clear statistics from the other game modes.
Removing local app data does not delete records already processed by Google or another service provider. Manage Play Games records through Google’s deletion controls, and consult the linked provider policies for their retention and privacy options. Providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond and handle your request. Support correspondence may be retained while needed to resolve the request and maintain related records; contact us if you would like it deleted.
Your questions and requests
Contact Zarzara at support@zarzara.app to ask about this policy or request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need information to identify the relevant records and verify your request.
We cannot remotely access or erase your device’s local app storage. For information held by Google through your Google Account or Play Games profile, use the account controls linked above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app and its services change. The current version is available on this page and through the Privacy Policy link in PickPerfect Settings. The date below the page title shows when this policy was last updated.
